The Strategic Direction for St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School is set by the Governing Board to provide clarity on the mission, vision, ethos and strategic direction for the school.
The Catholic Faith is at the heart of St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School. Our Mission Statement, ‘In the light of Jesus, we learn to shine’ demonstrates to all children they can achieve by following their Faith. The Governing Board supports this Mission whole-heartedly.
Our aims are to:
- Live the Gospel values of faith, love, forgiveness and care in our lives.
- Challenge and encourage all to become creative, resilient and independent lifelong learners using a rich vocabulary.
- Work with our community to prepare for our future by following the values and teaching of Jesus.
With constant reference to the school’s mission statement and aims, the Governing Board implements its strategic plan via the Strategic Development Plan, which sets out the near-term plans for improvement and priorities for focus.
